When did that blockade start and finish? I think ships have carried grain safely before and after the grain deal ended. The russians inspected a few inbound cargo ships for weapons at that time but let them on their way as I recall. I don't think the russians ever said they would attempt to sink grain ships with the black sea fleet, i think they did want to inspect inbound shipping for arms supply but the drone boat attacks using the safe corridor were very successful and made old school navy obsolete. That is a demonstration of technology evolving warfare and Admiral Radakin deserves much of the credit for his vision and work in that space over the last 2 decades.
