Unbelievable .......putin offers a ceasefire .....not peace , just a ceasefire til he comes back the next time .....if Ukraine give up all the land in those four provinces they currently hold .....and agree not to join NATO .......c'mon .....nothing in it for Ukraine ....al one sided ....does he think Ukraine are stupid ????

Putin promises ceasefire if Kyiv withdraws troops from occupied regions
Vladimir Putin has set out what he said were Russia's preconditions for starting peace talks with Ukraine.
He said Russia would be ready for such talks "tomorrow" if Ukrainian troops withdraw from the Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Donetsk and Luhansk regions and if Ukraine gave up its plans to join NATO.
If Ukraine agreed to those conditions, he said Russia would cease fire and start negotiations.
"Conditions are very simple," he said.
He continued: "As soon as Kyiv says they're ready for such a decision and start the real withdrawal of forces from these regions and officially declare rejection of plans to join NATO, from our side, immediately, literally the same minute, will come an order to stop the fire and start negotiations.
"We will do it immediately. Obviously, we will guarantee the uninterrupted and safe withdrawal of Ukrainian forces."
It should be noted that Volodymyr Zelenskyy has vowed to liberate all occupied regions from Russian control - and himself said all Russian forces must leave Ukraine as a condition for any peace deal.
Mr Putin has also said that his army's advance towards the Ukrainian capital Kyiv in 2022 was aimed at forcing Ukraine to agree to a peace deal.
He claimed there was no intention of storming Kyiv........BECAUSE HE CAN'T .....TRIED THAT AND FAILED !

Putin is desperate to try to get the same demands he made back in March of 2022. Fortunately for Ukraine they are in a much stronger position now and also growing in strength compared to then and Putin has no chance of being able to demand the same now.

Ukraine is going to Nato, Ukraine is going to the EU, and I would say Ukraine is likely to take Crimea back in the future and it's that realisation, that Ukraine will dismantle Putin's defences on Crimea and force a retreat just like they did with his impotent Black Sea fleet, that will see them reclaim Crimea that has Putin desperate. to salvage any win he can now.

Probably explains why his lackeys are constantly crying about those demands not being accepted by Ukraine then.

Anytime Putin wants a ceasefire he can simply cease firing, no one is stopping him from ending his war.

The clearest sign yet that Putin has no chance to accomplish a single objective militarily.
