Its more about the US (not NATO) finishing off Russia
(job was only half done in 1991)simply because Russia
has the means of Nuking the USA and that anxt played out
last week when Nuke Armed Russian destroyer & Nuke
Sub visited Cuba with enough Nukes on board to wipe out the population
centres of the US East Coast within 20 minutes.

The US simply uses NATO as a means of finishing off Russia
of which this Ukrainian War is the Catalyst, IMO.

Will it be successful?

Who knows?

While this war is costing enormous damage to the Ukraine and its peoples,
its only costing Uncle Sam printed Greenbacks which so far is delivering
great bang for those bucks!

As I have said previously our biggest riskier in Aus is that of a Nuke War
given that we have no Nukes as a deterrent nor do we have a defence
against Russian, Chinese or North Korean ballistic missile delivered Nukes. .

So the sane-self-interested Aus strategy ought to be peace advocacy ...not warmongering.
