    Hellfire requires line of sight, aircraft would be vulnerable to MANPADS which are also line of sight. Also vulnerable to long rainge air to air and long range surface to air missiles

    Ukraines 6 F-16s can carry hellfire - they might survive a mission or two if they venture close enough to the front to use hellfire.....or not.
