what we are seeing now is the chickens coming home to roost for russia ......the cost of the high losses by russia over the last few months and the profligate waste of both men and machine in their determination to advance has seen a lessening of cpability in the field for russia .

Russia has also overused reserves ....if Ukraine at present were to push hard somewhere russia could only rob some other part of the line to meet that threat .

But for Ukraine the re-supply of shells etc has revitalised their capability as has the new recruits .

So what we see today .....is more Ukraine imitiative to advance than russian .
