watso started listening to a story - and it started about a wedding where half the males who were invited, did not attend .. the reason was that they did not want to be somewhere, where the friendly enlistment guys would invite them to join the army..

anyway the report went on to mention how ukraine had a huge manpower shortage, and how men were doing their best to avoid meeting the friendly enlistment guys..

mention was made of an app - where one could get the location of enlistment squads ..

blah blah blah ...

watso just mentioned this - because watso cannot specifically recall this sort of commentary previously from the abc and their broadcast partners ,, the bbc ..

huge manpower shortage = too many men killed/injured ..

funny, the narrative was always how ukrainians were fighting for democracy/freedom ,, high morale blah blah .. and the russians with low morale were always suffering huge casualities
