Putin's terms for negotiations in 2022 were changing with the direction of Arctic breeze. When he could not get Kiev in 3 days as his poor intelligence suggested and realising UAF was a lot stronger, he came up with a plan to limit UAF force to 100,000 and invade a bit later. Few months earlier in StPetersburg youth conference he was bragging of conquering former USSR states and emulating Peter the Great. Putin is a liar and a sick man who said he will not invade Ukraine just a few weeks earlier cannot be trusted on anything he says.

China or none of the his BRICS mates have recognised any of the regions he annexed and will have to give up all that if Russia is to trade and get back to civilisation.
