some of the "strings attached" to the first offer were that Ukraine cut their military dramatically and agree not to have western allies making them effeectively undefended and impotent against any russ wishes .....was never going to be agreed

not sure these are still conditions or not ......but what I do know is Ukraine have taken back a lot of russ territory since then .....back in 2022 russ had control of 27% ....18% now !
