    The tectonic shift occurred after Feb 2022 in the Russia/Ukraine war - from which both US and EU imposed sanctions on Russia and seized their reserves.

    This is what has motivated non-aligned countries to diversified their trades away from both USD and EUR. It will take a few years to move away, but these countries are taking prudent measures to protect their reserves from being seized by either the US or EU.

    And also why some 40 countries this year, want to join BRICS.
