You mean the Ukrainians are fighting the Russian Nazi/Fascist invaders. The Ukrainians haven't done any invading, nor were they planning to. It is crystal clear that Putin is an imperialist wanting to reinstate the old USSR borders under Russian control. Every war bar Syria that he has fought since coming into power has been consistent with that goal. I'd swear that the Putin sycophants on HC would argue that black is white.
WW2 would have ended in 1946 regardless of the USSR. The German army was thinning out and was becoming increasingly battle weary, whilst the allied forces were gaining in strength. Blitzkrieg won the Germans quick territory, but is tougher to hang on to that in the long run. The Germans were going to be hopelessly outnumbered and outgunned. In time they may have also had the potential threat of an atom bomb hanging over their heads.
