After the first month where surprise and impetus gave Ru an advantage, their gains could be measured with a dress maker's tape measure. I'd call that a stalemate.
But there is another long range war where Ru can't counter the variety and accuracy of munitions supplied from a variety of countries. The US flies AWACs outside the borders and supplies Uk with the best if intel from a network including satellites. Armed with this and intel on the ground Uk is chopping up Ru. They are inflicting damage over a wide area including oil facilities inside Ru reducing supply domestically and for export.
Every indecisive month in the trenches is another month where Ru suffers badly everywhere else. I can't say how many more months Uk can survive but if they last the year Trump will not be able to abandon them.
