The US flies AWACs outside the borders and supplies Uk with the best if intel from a network including satellites. Armed with this and intel on the ground Uk is chopping up Ru. They are inflicting damage over a wide area including oil facilities inside Ru reducing supply domestically and for export.

Every indecisive month in the trenches is another month where Ru suffers badly everywhere else. I can't say how many more months Uk can survive but if they last the year Trump will not be able to abandon them.
