Its a war of attrition with elastic defence on a long front line not going for big territorial gains at the moment.
At some point the Russians may switch over to a big concentrated offensive but with the recent mobilisation in Ukraine providing more troops than losses and funding from the west I would say its perhaps less likely in the short term for the Russian to change over.
Its more likely that Ukraine might try another counter offensive while they still have the numbers to attempt it, maybe late summer when the rookies have some battlefield experience. The russians will dig in and hammer the Ukraine troop positions with lots of artillery and glide bombs.
