the objective was to take control of Ukraine ....they attacked Kyiv and were trying to get to Odesa .....the objective for russia was strategic and the humanitarian angle makes zero sense and just doesn't stand up when most people in Donbas were ethnic Ukrainian not ehtnic russian and whebn there was NO TROIUBLE THERE AT ALL ....before the russian incursion in 2014 .....or do you wish to try and deny that too .

Nor doeas it expalin russian taking parts of Kherson and Kharkiv .....you are a very poor quallity propagandist posting russian lies as fact .
