But the Opposition (Maidan) promptly reneged on it - on that same day.

Hence the Nuland quote of "Fk the EU" in reference to the EU sponsored peace deal with Yanukovych and Opposition parties (Maidan).

Its an inconvenient truth that nobody talks about anymore.
