F16s will have to fly low like the MIG 29s.

The number of aircraft maybe more relevant than the type in most instances however the F16 computers and ordinace may have a much better link to the AWACS.

My guess is that Putin's SU 34s will also have to fly low en route until they approach a targe area with their glide bombs BUT ...... What if an AWAC has been tracking them at low level and there is an F16 in the broader vicinity??
