Turkey/Ottoman Empire was involved in that war through its alliances. ANZACs are true heroes as were the Turkish/Ottoman Empire soldiers who opposed them to defend their land/empire. That battle was about achieving temporary strategic advantages and wasn't an attempt for a permanent land grab like Vlad the Invader is engaged in right now. I know it is too much to ask of you, but try to get some facts right every now and then. The criminals in that conflict were the British commanders who ordered the ANZACs to a certain death. In two days time we get to celebrate those heroic ANZACs and all the other other diggers, nurses etc who came after them. Aussie soldiers are revered in other countries, just ask the French who have even named streets after them. There are always a few bad apples in every bunch, so don't start on those, because the exception simply proves the rule.
