that's not true .....russia never tried to negotiate with Ukraine before Crimea and the Donbass insurgemncy or before the invasion
the negotiations you are talking about occurred AFTER russia invaded and therefore doesn't explain why russia invaded
and the reason Ukraine pulled out was russia called for Ukraine to be demilitarised and therefore helpless against furhter russ aggression ....."trust us .....though we've ionvaded in the past and stole your land ....."
