There is a saying "That which does not kill you, strengthens you"
and so it is , IMO, with the Russian loss of antiquated/obsolete
war machines & equipment.

Russia is now pumping out more battlefield fit hardware & software
which makes it a more formidable NATO opponent as this war progresses.

Again, IMO, regardless of who wins the US presidential election, there
will be a reset of US foreign policy leading to a negotiated settlement
and unfortunately that will more likely than not lead to the Ukraine ceding
significant territory adjoining the Black Sea.
