    Germany held large swaths of land during WW2 as well. Did they hang onto it all? Nope. Did Europe give up? Nope.

    Yes, Ukraine is losing territory to Russia. (unfortunately) but at the cost of many Russian lives.... lives which PooTin doesn't care about. He's just using money to lure poor Russians. (or the lunatics who just love killing people and shooting guns.
    At least Ukrainians are defending their homeland from the invading orcs.
