If the countries the Kremlin occupied were so happy to be brutalised by the Kremlin for decades then they all wouldn't have jumped at independence the second the Soviet Union collapsed.

I am referring to the occupation of many countries from a period after WW2, that is the period you decided to focus on when you are talking about the history of the CIA.
