i think i brought this point up before, not sure if you got to see it. cia expanded its foothold in ukraine under trump and started training troops to fight against eastern ukrainians and russians. i believe when trump says he'll sort out the conflict - he lies. just like biden lied when he said that he will stop the economic war with china, that trump allegedly started.

but time will tell.
