russia is struggling ukraine is struggling eu is struggling (having to up their imports of russian gas to a point where russia has now overtaken us as europes number one gas supplier) usa is also struggling in more than one way.
we live in a globalised economy world, buddy. if a huge oil/gas supplier like russia implodes and turns into chaos, that will affect everybody. europe, us, africa, australia and even nz. so you better curb your hopes. you'll be the first one whinging after the collapse of the russian economy triggers a world-wide financial crisis.
