Nah, I was attracted to Russia before the war. I used to cheer for them when they played in sports. I thought Russia is an essential ingredient for balance of power. That's the reason I worked in Russia twice on contracts and got almost all Pushkin and Dostoevsky books at home and listen to Tchaikovsky. I am also attracted to Ukraine too, mainly on personal grounds. I was saddened by Putin's invasion and still am. That's all.
