Clearly you don't appreciate/know that by time line, the use of the word Russia came after the general use of the term "Rus" so use of the term Rus does not mean it is historically Russian land - duh.
The meaning of the term Rus is disputed, some saying its descended from Scandinavian Vikings, others from southeastern Slavics, only some who are now Russians.
Either way, Rus are not what we would now term Russians, so now toddle off with your Poots revisionist history book.
P.S. if you have been to St Petersberg, you will notice a whole of lot of them look nothing like southeastern Slavs and whole lot like the Swedes and Finnish who have controlled historically from time to time, so are you saying that this should be returned to Finland? Also you have Novgorod where a lot of the population is descended from Lithuanians and Poles, same, same I suppose?
