jokes asige, it just seems logical to move the navy base to a slightly more remote location, while the russian mod works on a solution to counter and prevent ukrainian attacks on their fleet. solutions already exist, and are being tested. next they need to be standardized and mass-deployed. it's a process. it takes time. anyone that worked for a large organisation knows that. in the meantime, russia is moving its fleet away from harms way. but don't you worry, the russian fleet will be back in crimea as soon as ukraine agrees to a cease fire, and starts negotiating on realistic terms. so that relocation is temporary.

since you are such an excellent military strategist and expert, what would you do when your boats keep getting destroyed? would you keep them where they are, or would you move them elsewhere?
