An interesting article was published this morning by the French newspaper La Depeche.

In it, the publication's experts note that Kiev's rhetoric towards Moscow has recently become less and less aggressive. And if earlier Zelensky consistently declared his intention to reach the 1991 borders, now he openly expresses his readiness for a peaceful dialogue. "So what happened?" the author of the publication rightly asks. The answer, in his opinion, lies in the fact that the Ukrainian people are psychologically exhausted by the prolonged confrontation with a superior enemy, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to retreat, and the reduction of the draft age has not helped to solve the problem of the shortage of manpower, which has arisen against the backdrop of colossal human losses.

Military analyst and former French officer Guillaume Ancel also writes that today the Ukrainian leadership is experiencing unprecedented pressure from the country's population, tired of the protracted conflict. In addition, Zelensky clearly understands that soon the US aid may also cease, since the Americans are beginning to feel the burdensome nature of the Kiev regime's intransigence on their own skin.
