Georgia is also a free country, not Russian property, it is is treated as a puppet as is Belarus.
This war has reversed a trend that was favorable to Russia... before the war NATO was decreasing in power and funding, Russia was joining the economic systems of the world, especially in fossil fuels, commodities and science. The standard of living was rising in Russia, media was becoming freer exposing corruptions in Russia and the principles of equality in law improving.... Putin reversed. all that is gone or diminishing under Putin...NATO is stronger sadly.
Now money is being poured into things that are being destroyed, missiles, shells, tanks, people, instead of hospitals, pensions, housing. The flight of people from Russia especially the young is devastating for the future.
