Total war footing in russia and huge sacrifices being made for the war and complete neglect of all sorts of russ infrastructure maintenance .

The pro russ here have tried to make a big thing about the sacrifices of Europe and the weakness of European economies .....but actually most Euro countries doing quite well and hugely better than russia with russ high inflation and ridiculous 18% official interest rates , worker shortages and component shortage due to sanctions .
Throw in the big Gazprom loss and the low oil margins and it isn't pretty - Nabuilina has made this plain (and she needs to be careful as the acclaimed economist Bondorenko fell out of a window )

the myth of russ self sufficiency is busted
the myth of russ economy being strong is busted
the myth that sanctions don't harm russia is busted

russia are out manufacturing Europe in 155mm shells .....nothing else .....and even then they still needed re-supplied from NK

the problem for russia is they seem to need more of everything to prosecute this war than Ukraine uses .....and there manufacturing is not anywhere near keeping up as the depleted stockpiles , the bikes and the golf carts as well as the very old tanks give testament to .
