i think 3 ATACMS hit the convoy. Good strike but to take out 490 soldiers would require 25 trucks to be carrying 20 troops each with 98% kill rate

I would believe 100 dead and possibly double that wounded but in reality some trucks probably had gear and not men on board. They were spread out with 10m between each truck.

to get 490 is just a made up number for propaganda purposes.
