ukraine has been losing territories since the beginning of this year, including many strategical positions.
ukraines belgorod incursions resulted in a loss of territory in the kharkov direction, as well as acceleration of the territoy loss rate in the donetks region mainly.
ukrainian army opened up a new front line, which it will need to feed with more men, weapons and ammo, potentially having to divert supplies from other parts of the front-line. that's if the actually want to be able to hold on to the territories they captured long enough.

potentially a fatal mistake mae by the ukrainian mod, that will accelerate the demise of the uaf.
