I also wonder how many are taking the cover of the absolute confusion to desert .....just disappear from an orginasion they never wanted to be in or found out later they didn't like .

But this has been very easy ground for UAF to take* and they can bleed russia when they try to take it back over protracted time requiring more attackers than defnenders .
putin really wants another full mobilisation but that is so politically unpalatable for him he's still avoiding it .
