Maidan protesters were unhappy for months, if they were happy they wouldn't have been protesting for months, so what does that have to do with anything related to the deal Yanukovych signed with the opposition?

Yanukovych was under no threat from protests nor protestors that he had been brutally controlling for months.

Yanukovych signs the deal, puts his escape plan into action. An escape plan that he had already planned. An escape plan that needed two attempts to get out of Ukraine with. An escape plane that he wanted to make "look like" official government business. An escape plan that he never informed the authorities of his whereabouts during it. An escape plane he remained uncontactable to authorities during it.

None of that are the actions of a president who intends to remain in their position.

If there was an employee behaving like that, who just left their job after planning to, would they still have one? No, they wouldn't.

The constitutional issues you and Lucky constantly whinge about were created by Yanukovych himself. One poor decision after another, all made by Yanukovych culminating in him abandoning the presidency and fleeing Ukraine.

Yanukovych made his choices. Two of those were to abandoned the presidency and flee to Russia.

That means it is not coup.

The main point you are forgetting in all of this, besides it not being a coup, is that Ukrainians choosing their own government does not justify Putin's mass murder of Ukrainians.
