Why does it matter the date he actually left Ukraine? What does that change?
His first escape attempt was on Feb 22 but was prevented by border guards from leaving. His escape was successful on his 2nd attempt. A sure fire sign of his intentions. He should have stayed in Ukraine. But he didn't.
The planning was there, the intent was there, his escape plan was put in motion the day before the Rada vote.
Just because he wasn't successful in getting out of Ukraine immediately doesn't change what he was doing.
Yanukovych's actions, his decisions, one poor one after the other are the reason he voluntarily abandoned his presidency and fled Ukraine. He gave up the presidency, it wasn't taken from him.
