I think you will find that the Georgian government won popular election. If what you say is true the Georgian people will reject the current government at the next election,
I would say some people in Georgia want to be part of the EU and NATO. Some dont.
I would also say they are not blind and don't want to be the next Ukraine picking a fight with Russia on behalf of NATO so finding a balance between good relations with Russia and EU is what the current government wants.
