I suspect the losses would be higher for the side facing airstikes/artillery and rocket barrages (especially lately where gains seem to be caused by a lack of defenders [either retreat or 'not there']. but I am a layman.
Also, are we sure Ukraine are going to be able to hold their new gains? What does that say about the sacrifice?
