Actually I dont think the Russians believed just how lunatic,monstrous and bloodthirsty the USA/NATO are. At least we know now that we can never let the tyrant USA/NATO ever be in any position of control in the world ever again. The only other rogue regime I can think of that has so embroiled the world in senseless, savage war is the Nazi Third Reich. That's why if we survive the looming WW3 the world MUST put the USA/NATO/EU/UK war criminals on trial.
