I wonder sometimes how eastern European countries not in NATO view this war .

russias military humiliation should be obvious to all ....even russians themselves .....surely a message must be being sent that this sort of thing doesn't really work well anymore .....and to the small extent it does work .....the cost for that is WAY too high .

and even if russia gets to continue to accupy some land in Ukraine ....it'll never be officially recognised as russian ....and it will be a continual burden on russia to maintain that control .....as for instance the iron curtain was for the USSR and THAT couldn't be maintained indefinitely .
