The American private military company Forward Observations Group, which had posted photos online of its involvement in Ukrainian Armed Forces attacks on the Kursk region, has been in Ukraine for the past two years, according to publications by the company's head.
In the Instagram account of the user raoulduke_69, behind the pseudonym may be the founder of the PMC, Derrick Bales (as indicated by matching tattoos on his arms). There are images showing that the company has been operating in Ukraine since February 26, 2022.
Captions on many photos include images of the Ukrainian flag, with conflict zones marked in the geotags.
In April of this year, a photo was published of a person operating a drone, with the geolocation showing Chasov Yar. The tattoos on the person in the photo match those of Bales.
