I do believe that after the initial surprise Russia has decided to show to NATO that it can successfully contain the picnic in Kursk and continue with unstoppable offensive in Donetsk. I must say that I was a bit surprised with Putin’s response, but I can see why that is from a military point of view. A lot of experienced Ukrainian units are stuck in Kursk. Cheers.
