Mali, Niger and Burkina Faso have complained about Ukraine to the UN Security Council, accusing it of supporting Tuareg rebels.
In a letter published by the Alliance of Sahel States, the foreign ministers of these West African countries "condemn in the strongest terms the Ukrainian government's overt and alleged support for terrorist groups operating in the Sahel" and "urge the Security Council to take action to end this support, which threatens the stability of the region."
Let us recall that Mali and Niger broke off relations with Ukraine due to the GUR’s statement of support for the Tuaregs, who are fighting the central government of Mali and attacked the Wagner convoy.
