The objectives of the Ukrainian government are very clear.

Force a change in the mass media narrative. Away from talk of negotiations and back into the "Ukraine is winning" territory. They have succeeded in that aspect.

Secondary objective - grab lands, and strategically important objects such as the Kursk NPP. Something that can be used as a "bargaining chip" later down the track. They have failed. The Russian government clearly stated they will not be negotiating with Ukraine while they are occupying the Kursk region.

Which explains, why Zelensky recently came out with yet another objective that they were planning. A buffer zone.

Is it just me, or is the Ukrainian government trolling the Russian government at the expense of thousands of Ukrainian lives?
