    I've never suggested that was a reason for the talks not going ahead so don't try and misrepresent the exchange...it was simply a incidental observation....you don't know what did or didn't happen on that front so stop pretending you do by saying "it didn't happen":
    The fact is there were far more complicated and important reasons why the talks collapsed but you don't want to address them because you want to portray the Anglo/French team as having missed some kind of opportunity by saying they "should have signed the deal with Stalin".
    If only it was as simple as you like to dream and pretend.
    So you're a fan of Stalin and Putin.... impressive....but I don't like your taste.
