Boris did not sabotage the peace deal between the Ukrainians and the Russians, because the deal had not been agreed upon at that point in time. He simply ensured three were no more negotiations towards a peace deal. The outcome is the same. regardless of the technicalities you are stuck with.
“Let’s just fight” were his words according to the Ukrainians.
