Very interesting video. One of the things that gets mentioned is a paper/report written by the Rand Corporation, which is a major think tank behind quite a few political decisions that are made by the US government. The report is titled "Extending Russia".
Google "Extending Russia, Rand Corporation". The report is public. Read it for yourself. It mentions Ukraine a few times. Escalation of the conflict in Ukraine is a way to "extend Russia". Ukraine is just a tool. The Kursk incursion is of no strategic benefit to Ukraine. But it does serve a purpose as far as "extending Russia" goes.
