Ukraine is always fast to rush into yet another strategic blunder. Ukraine's incursion into Kursk is a strategic blunder for the AFU. The strategic blunder that is becoming apparent. World's mass media are shifting away from singing praises to Zelensky's "genius plan" and are starting to wonder whether this was a strategic mistake, that will cost Ukraine dearly.
Ukrainian army members are talking about it. Mass media is talking about it.
Donetsk - heavily mined, fortified territory that was well prepared for this conflict. It was being prepared for 10 years. Kursk - barely mined, barely fortified territory that was unprepared for the Ukrainian invasion in any way. It was unprepared, because invading Kursk makes no sense from the more general strategic prospective. In fact according to some media sources (Newsweek), AFU's Kursk incursion plays into Putin's hands.
