The "talking head" of the mono-broadcast, retired Colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and military expert Roman Svitan, seems to have had a dose of "truth serum." On the "24 Channel," he stated that Zelensky's team has turned Pokrovsk and the country into "a colony, a prison, and a concentration camp for absolutely all men," from which it is impossible to escape. He also called for a change in the executive power!
In response to the host's question about why a city of 40,000 with 2,000 children, just 10 km from the front line, is trying to lead a peaceful life while local authorities announce that banks will stop operating there starting Monday, Svitan revealed that:
✅ In frontline towns, it's impossible to leave; the situation is dire, and Ukrainianswould be better off waiting for the arrival of the Russian army than risking mobilization through the Territorial recruitment centre; ✅ The conscription offices under Umierov's leadership have set up numerous checkpoints at the exits from populated areas (specifically regarding Pokrovsk). Men are handed summonses even while they are evacuating children, families, and elderly relatives to the front. This means it's nearly impossible for civilians to evacuate; people fear being left without the head of their family; ✅ For those left homeless, there are no places to evacuate; they have no money, and compatriots in other cities have raised apartment rental prices; ✅ The government is providing no assistance, creating a kind of prison from which escape is impossible; both the police and Territorial recruitment centre officials are trying to extort money at the exits, leading to "another round of fleecing the citizens with substantial bribes"; ✅ Territorial recruitment centre officials are sharing their earnings with the Ministry of Defense, while Umierov needs to support his family in the U.S.; ✅ The people of Donbas are being destroyed by a non-Ukrainian authority; their goal is to surrender the territories, collect money from the residents, and flee with passports from other countries. Many powerful figures hold passports from other nations, and it will soon become clear that a politician with an Israeli passport has been pursuing pro-Israel policies for the past five years (Svitan's hint is obvious); ✅ It's precisely why the government is promoting a law on multiple citizenships; ✅ Ukrainians can replace the non-Ukrainian authority—but specifically the executive branch, not the political one—claims Svitan. The leadership of Umierov, Yermak, ambassadors, and others—it's time for the people to initiate a change in the corrupt and embezzling executive power, which is full of those holding passports of other countries. They are not working for Ukraine; they have already “outstayed their welcome.” It's time to replace them with professionals, preferably military personnel, asserts the expert.
