It might not be a great idea to base your opinion of AFU's longevity in Kursk on such a biased account.
There are a bunch of examples but I agree, too much hassle to go into them.
Luckily we don't have to go back to far to get an idea... Here is another (reply quote) talking about the 'easing of pressure on AFU in Donetsk' just a few weeks ago. You can see how that turned out.
