In world war 2 the battle of Kursk was the Nazi's last major roll of the dice on the eastern front resulting in some small territorial gains but ultimately strategic failure.

The 2024 battle of Kursk looks to be panning out the same way, the Russians haven't taken the bait and are in fact taking advantage of the thinned out Ukrainian forces to advance rapidly.

Now its looking like Zelenskys government is starting to fall apart and the Russians are clearly targeting NATO personal in Ukraine.

Could peace negotiations finally be on the way? Or will the Ukrainians try something desperate to draw NATO (officially) into a hot war with Russia.
