Yep, they were working on a peace deal. It fell through. Why did it? You want to run with the idiotic "it was Boris" pro Kremlin Junk that only a Putin apologist would use?
Putin's surrender demands fell through because Ukraine defeated Russian forces in the Kyiv area and as a result discovered depraved war crimes committed by the Russians which was the final nail in the coffin. Constant changing demands and additional conditions Putin thought he could dictate didn't help either.
My position is very simple. First, Putin ends his war, second, if Putin won't end his war I'll support Ukraine in their choices to respond to Putin's war. If Ukraine said they surrender, I'd support them there too.
So I'll ask you again, since there is nothing stopping Putin from ending his war but Putin himself, would you be happy with a peace that comes from Putin ending his war?
Or are you only interested in Putin winning and forcing your view on Ukraine?
For someone claiming they're not a Putin apologists you sound awfully a lot like one. Convince me otherwise.
